Reboot 1776
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
-Martin Luther King Jr
We cannot be silent when it comes to our freedoms. As a nation, we have lost our way. We have strayed too far from God, our original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Our government is too big, too out of control, too restrictive, and the restrictions seem to grow daily. Our elected officials have forgotten who it is they serve. They have forgotten what it means to serve.
When computers and software become too fragmented, too damaged, too corrupted, it becomes necessary to reboot them–to take them back to their original programming, their original operating system. That’s what we need…. We need to reboot from 1776!
“These are the times that try men’s souls.” Thomas Paine’s words were never more true. Our souls, the very soul of our nation, is threatened. We simply cannot be silent any longer. We need to reboot from 1776.
God
“Choose you this day whom you will serve. But, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15
We believe that God must be first and foremost in our lives and in our country. God is the foundation on which our founding fathers built this nation. A country without God is a country without morality, without values, without a soul. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
Family
“There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues, the most dominating virtues of human, are created, strengthened and maintained.”
Winston Churchill
We believe that strong, healthy families build strong, healthy people who, in turn, will make a strong, healthy nation. Families provide a sense of stability. Families teach us about faith, hope, love, respect, loyalty, honor, and so much more.
Country
“The duty of a true Patriot is to protect his country from its government.”
Thomas Paine
We believe that government must be kept in check. Our founding fathers framed a government that included checks and balances because they had experienced firsthand how true it was that “absolute power corrupts absolutely.” This is why they established three branches of government and amendments like the second. They knew that there must be a balance of power between government and the people.
“Government’s first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.”
– Ronald Reagan
